To start off with my version of a Manhunter, I chose to use a jlu Darkseid body base and a casted head of Grundy. cut the DS waste skirt off and sculpy fill the waste to the top of the legs, chest and shoulders and sand to get a smooth look. During this time, i shaped and sculpted the Grundy head to the best i could and then made a casting so i can work with it better without taking a chance on cracking the sculpy. Once the head was ready with the additional sanding, I used epoxy putty to adhere the head to the body. Cut to shape the upper parts of the boots and did and overall sanding.
Now it's all set. I added some bands around the top of the gloves, below the neck and around the upper legs. I used a plastic stencil sheet to make the waste and chest bands so it would have some kind of definition to it. Now I brush prime the figure. I ran out of primer so I made a color mix that will do pretty good for coverage while I ordered some more primer. Anita's true red acrylic flat, a little of testors gloss black & clear gloss. Go through the normal paint process of detailing. The other paints I used was Anita's gloss lt. blue and testors red and black paints.
Once, the figure was complete on its paint job, I then airbrushed the entire figure with gloss for added paint protection. And when that was dry, I used testors dullcote spray to give it the flat/matted look.
This project was quite easy to do once I came up with a plan from the beginning to execute. It's not the best but i'm satified with it.

Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did making it, Stew.
